Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a delegation to visit and congratulate elderly people aged at 90 and 100 on the occasion of the Traditional Day of the Elderly.
Particularly, the delegation visited, congratulated and presented gifts worth between VND800,000 and over 1.89million each to 4 centenarians, namely Vu Thi Huong in Phuoc Hoa commune’s hamlet 1B; heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Doi, Vu Thi Hoa in Phuoc Vinh township’s quarter 3; Nguyen Thi Thay in Vinh Hoa commune’s Vinh An hamlet, and 31 elderly people aged at 90. The delegation also extended best regards to the elderly, wished them good life while wanting them to continue making contributions to the local construction and development process.
*Also on this occasion, North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee organized 7 delegations to visit, congratulate and offer gifts worth VND500,000 each to 28 elderly people aged at 90.
This was also a chance for the local authorities at all levels and sectors to show a respect for the elderly and encourage them to uphold their role, contributing to the local socio-economic development…
