Provincial Department of Information and Communications (DoIC) has just had a meeting with Phu Giao district’s People's Committee on the application of information technology (IT) in activities of the local State agencies.
In terms of the local IT infrastructure, there are 89 and 133 computers equipped at district, communal levels; 100% of computer systems in agencies and units connected to the LAN to share data, printers ..., improving the working efficiency of cadres and civil servants. Each "one-stop" section in communes and towns of the district is equipped with an information kiosk, a digital dialer, and an internet TV to display information for people. There are also 12 specialized agencies under the district People's Committee, 10 communal People's Committees, 10 individuals granted digital signatures; 217 official mail boxes, including 166 district-level mail boxes and 51 communal-level ones.
In addition, the district established a website in 2013, posting from 50 to 60 news, articles on administrative reform documents, directions, weekly work schedules of the local People's Committee, Party Committee; set up a fanpage with the domain name of "Phu Giao e-news"…Especially, the district deployed online public services, posted 289 administrative procedures under its jurisdiction, comprising of 84 procedures at level 2, 43 procedures at level 3 and 157 procedures at level 4. At commune level, there were 133 procedures, including 5 procedures at level 1, 51 procedures at level 2, 57 procedures at level 3 and 20 at level 4.
At the meeting, leaders of provincial DoIC acknowledged the district’s results in the application of IT and the suggestions by leaders of the district’s People's Committees at all levels in supporting the district in the application and effective use of IT in activities of State agencies in the coming time. Provincial DoIC also suggested the district’s People's Committees at all levels to arrange specialized IT officials to further improve efficiency in the application of IT in State administrative activities ...
