Under the movements of “Paying debt of gratitude” and “When drinking water, remember its source”, Phu Giao district’s Party, government and people built, upgraded and handed over 87 gratitude houses to policy beneficiary families and those who rendered great services to the nation with a total expense of more than VND2.7bln during the past five years.
The district also visited and gave gifts worth more than VND16.4bln for all policy beneficiary families on Tet and great holidays; donated 10 wheelchairs to war invalids; received and presented home equipment to 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers.
In addition, the district teamed up with provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented home equipment to the families of martyrs and war invalids; gathered and brought 29 sets of martyrs’ remains to district’s martyrs’ cemetery; provided free medical check-up and medicine for policy beneficiaries; visited the district’s martyrs’ cemetery and burned candles to commemorate heroic martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs and War Invalids’ Day…
