Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) as of August 2015 has basically fulfilled its target on training non-agricultural skills for rural laborers. Under 2015’s plan, the division will organize 7 vocational training classes, including 2 on sewing and 5 on cooking, for 165 learners.
To complete its vocational training target, the division has teamed up with the People’s Committees at all levels of the district to send a list of training skills to localities for learners’ registration. After graduation, some learners have created jobs by themselves via opening eateries and cooking parties or taken jobs at firms in and out of the district, thereby helping them increase income and stabilize their lives.
