Phu Giao’s leaders pay gift visit to policy beneficiary families

*Provincial Red Cross Society and TDM city get involved in “paying debt of gratitude” activities

Leaders of Phu Giao district, on July 25, organized 11 delegations to visit and present gifts to the local policy beneficiary families.

In Tan Hiep commune, Tran Binh Son-Secretary of the district’s Party Committee expressed his gratitude to war invalids, martyrs’ families and those who rendered service to the nation in the commune in particular and in Phu Giao district in general. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Son presented 25 gifts to outstanding policy beneficiary families in the commune and awarded the certificates of “Outstanding policy beneficiary family” to 3 local families.

On this occasion, Phu Giao district has offered more than 400 gifts worth VND800,000 each for the local policy beneficiary families and those who rendered service to the nation. It is estimated that these gifts have a total expense of more than VND320mln.

Prior to that, provincial Red Cross Society and its Club’s Volunteers visited and presented gifts worth VND500,000 each to 5 Vietnamese heroic mothers in Ben Cat district; Di An, Thuan An towns and TDM town.

The People’s Committee of Chanh Nghia ward in TDM city also gave 32 gifts worth VND200,000 each for wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ families and those who rendered service to the nation. Meanwhile, the People’s Committee of Phu Loi ward in TDM city upgraded 2 gratitude houses for wounded and sick soldiers in quarters 3, 4; held a get-together and presented 371 gifts to them to national contributors.

In honor of War invalids and Martyrs’Day, the People’s Committee of Hiep Thanh ward in TDM city organized a get-together and gave 279 gifts to war invalids, martyrs’ families and those who rendered service to the nation with total expense of more than VND40.4mln.
