Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee, on June 2, held a conference for exemplary role-models in the local patriotic emulation movements between 2010 and 2015.
During the past five years, the district’s People’s Committee promoted patriotic emulation movements among people from all strata, greatly contributing to the local socio-economic development. The local rural image was improved considerably with economic growth remaining stable at the annual average level of 12.44%. As of late 2014, the average income per capita herein reached VND34.5mln; the ratio of poor households reduced to 1.69%. The whole district had 31 out of 37 schools meeting national standards and there were also 2 out of 10 communes recognized as new-style rural ones. The local authorities at all levels also well realized social welfare policies and “paying debt of gratitude” movements…
On this occasion, 4 collectives, 5 families and 101 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of the district’s People’s Committee for their good performance in the local patriotic emulation movements between 2010 and 2015.
