On the morning of August 9, leaders of Phu Giao district’s Police Agency visited, offered gifts and sent thank-you letters to families who supported the local police to complete their tasks at checkpoints for Covid-19 prevention and control.
In the face of the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, the district’s Police Agency has advised the district’s People's Committee on establishing 119 checkpoints with 579 soldiers participating to control vehicles passing through the district to prevent the spread of the virus in the community. In the process of performing their tasks, the district’s police force has always received enthusiastic support for the local households. Specifically, the households of Nguyen Hoai Thanh in An Binh commune’s Binh Hoa hamlet; Nguyen Thanh Phuong in Phuoc Hoa commune’s Bo La hamlet; Dang Van Suu and Le Van Thanh in Bau Bang district’s Hung Hoa commune... helped and created conditions in terms of living and resting places for soldiers to perform their duties at checkpoints over the past 1 month.
In the coming time, the district’s Police Agency wants to further receive effective cooperation and help from the local sectors, agencies, mass organizations and people so that the unit can continue excellently performing the "dual goals" of preventing Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring the local security and order.
