After 4 days of competing in many exciting matches, the Vovinam Tournament 2024 of Thu Dau Mot city was successfully concluded. With 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals, Phu Loi ward excellently won first place overall.
This year's tournament has the participation of 137 athletes from 14 clubs in the wards across Thu Dau Mot City. The tournament is organized to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

Accordingly, after 4 consecutive days of intense and high-quality competition, the tournament concluded with professional success. Among them, Phu Loi ward claimed first place overall with 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. With 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals, Tan An ward secured second place overall. The third place belonged to Chanh Nghia ward with a record of 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.
It is known that this is an annual tournament organized by Thu Dau Mot City to create a playground for coaches to discover new talents in the martial art created by the Vietnamese people, and to add them to the Vovinam team of Thu Dau Mot City, ready to participate in provincial tournaments this year. At the same time, it helps those who have a passion for Vovinam to have the opportunity to exchange, learn, and enhance their experience with each other.
