Pioneering CPV members - instrumental in the establishment of robust trade union organizations

Constantly striving in their professional and academic pursuits, numerous party members within foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) in the province have progressively matured and emerged as exemplary figures for their peers. In early 2025, Binh Duong had two distinguished party members (out of a total of 95 recognized nationwide) acknowledged by the Vietnam General Trade Union.

Mr. Lai The Phuc (standing) is a dynamic and engaged CPV member, actively involved in numerous activities within the company.

Never cease to enhance your personal development.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Duyen, Secretary of CPV Cell No. 1 - VSIP 1, Party Committee of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park, and Vice President of the Trade Union of Wonderful Saigon Electric Company Limited, is an exemplary party member who has been recognized by the provincial Trade Union for several consecutive years across various fields.

After 19 years with the company, Mrs. Duyen has consistently endeavored to enhance her professional skills and knowledge. Joining the organization at a young age, she actively engaged in union activities and participated in numerous initiatives proposed by the company and various levels of management.

Mrs. Duyen joined the company as a worker, like her colleagues, yet her determination propelled her forward. Balancing daytime work with nighttime studies, she earned a bachelor's degree in law by 2016. Subsequently, she was appointed by the company and entrusted with numerous significant responsibilities. Currently, as the individual responsible for overseeing the daily production quantities in accordance with the plan and managing production standards at each stage, Ms. Duyen consistently fulfills her assigned tasks with 100% timeliness. She also engages in ongoing research, exploration, innovation, and improvement in her work to enhance the company's profitability.

“During my tenure at the company, I consistently ensure the completion of all assigned tasks and organize the team's work in the most efficient manner. Additionally, I regularly seek support and acquire knowledge from both leaders and colleagues. This collaboration enables me to generate new ideas and improvements aimed at reducing investment costs for machinery, as well as developing supporting machines and tools that enhance worker safety and productivity,” stated Mrs. Duyen.

As Vice President of the grassroots union representing 900 workers, Mrs. Duyen and the Executive Board have effectively organized dialogues and annual conferences for the workforce. They have advocated for the inclusion of more favorable provisions for workers in the collective labor agreement, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of workers' lives.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Duyen consistently engages in activities and motivates young employees within the organization to pursue education and become members of the CPV.

Joining the CPV represents an aspiration worth pursuing.

In recent days, upon receiving the news of his recognition by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Lai The Phuc, a security officer in the production area, a member of the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union, and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell at Chutex International Company Limited in Di An City, could not contain his happiness. "This is a tremendous honor for me and serves as motivation to continue striving for improvement," Mr. Phuc shared.

After 14 years of collaboration with the business and the trade union, Mr. Phuc was introduced and officially admitted to the Party in 2020. He remarked, “Since my youth, I have been involved in the Youth Union, accompanying my brothers and uncles in numerous meaningful social activities and participating in Party training sessions. From that point onward, I aspired to be officially welcomed into the Party one day. Joining the Party serves as a means of self-improvement, aiding my personal development. Throughout the years, I have also observed workers with commendable qualities whom I can introduce to the CPV's principles.”

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Phuc has consistently engaged in research, innovation, and the proposal of solutions that enhance the company's economic efficiency. His latest initiative involves collaborating with the warehouse manager to directly count and monitor imported and exported goods, as well as to verify import and export documentation, thereby reducing the potential loss of the company's inventory.

As the leader of the security team at the company, he recognized the safety risks associated with shift changes. This period marked the cessation of factory operations, allowing day shift workers to depart while night shift workers arrived. During this interval, the factory lacked safety oversight. Consequently, Mr. Phuc advised that the units collaborate to secure the outer perimeter, conduct regular patrols in areas susceptible to fire and explosion, and uphold the safety of the factory.

In addition to consistently excelling in assigned tasks, Phuc actively engages in trade union activities. He continually enhances the skills and knowledge of Executive Board members and union group leaders. He fosters connections and solidarity among groups, departments, and employees within the company, thereby strengthening grassroots trade unions. Together with the company's grassroots trade union Executive Board, he has successfully negotiated and signed collective labor agreements over the years, securing advantageous terms for employees and consistently gaining the approval of both the Board of Directors and the entire workforce. He implements solutions that contribute to the establishment of harmonious and stable labor relations in a company with nearly 5,000 employees. He collaborates with the Board of Directors to ensure employee policies are upheld, including the signing of labor contracts and the provision of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance at a rate of 100%.

To date, 100% of the employees of Chutex International Company Limited have joined the grassroots union. In recent years, the grassroots union has consistently been recognized as excellent and robust, with no members categorized as weak. Mr. Phuc has also proposed numerous initiatives for movement activities, including organizing events that provide healthy recreational opportunities for workers after hours, as well as offering timely support, visits, and encouragement to employees and their families during times of illness or particularly challenging circumstances.

In recent years, the dedication of young party members employed in FDI enterprises in Binh Duong has significantly strengthened the trade union organization, enhanced the welfare of workers, and fostered the sustainable development of enterprises.

Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, stated: In recent years, the development of the Party within foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises has garnered significant attention from both the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation. Numerous Party members among the workforce have progressively matured, emerging as exemplary figures for their peers to emulate.

In addition to executing their designated functions and responsibilities within enterprises, each party member consistently endeavors to work, study, and enhance enterprises with significant economic value. They also serve as the foundational force in establishing a robust trade union organization, contributing to the development of numerous initiatives aimed at addressing both the material and spiritual needs of workers within enterprises.
