Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a plan on the realization of the Action Month for Gender Equality and Prevention of Gender-based Violence 2018 under the theme of “Being proactive to eliminate violence against women and girls”.
Accordingly, the action month will take place from November 15 to December 15, 2018 with such practical contents as organizing a ceremony launching the action month; holding seminars, contests on gender equality, prevention of gender-based violence; speeding up propaganda activities; mobilizing resources to implement the action month, strengthening socialization for communication activities and supporting women and girls with difficult circumstances…
Sectors and departments in the province have also been ordered to set up concrete plans in order to respond to the action month effectively, which needs to be associated with other events to create better communication effects in the whole society.
