Commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 to August 19, 2023), the 78th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of September 2, the Youth Unions of the provincial Police, Women's Association, and Trade Union of the provincial Police cooperated to organize the 2nd Voluntary Blood Donation Day in 2023 with the themeof "Journey of blood drops of love".
Hundreds of officers, soldiers, youth union members, and members inside and outside the forces have registered to participate in voluntary blood donation to have collected more than 250 blood units.
This activity has practical significance to provide blood to save lives, contributing to the protection and health care of the people, especially patients who need blood to treat diseases; thereby, continuing to inherit and promote the good tradition of the People's Public Security force: “For the country to forget oneself, for the people to serve" and effectively implement the movement of "The People's Public Security learns and implements six teachings of President Ho Chi Minh".
