Early Jan.20, Binh Duong province’s Department of Health and the Border Post 809 jointly provided free medical checks-up and donated 200 gifts to poor children and Khmer ethnic people in Loc Ninh district’s Loc Thinh commune in the southern province of Binh Phuoc (photo). The total cost of these gifts was worth more than VND40mln, funded by Binh Duong’s donors and health staff.

Also on this occasion, the Youth Union of Binh Duong province’s Department of Health and the Trade Union of Binh Duong province’s health sector jointly visited and presented Tet gifts to officials and soldiers at the Border Post 809. This is part of the program set out by the twinned units the Border Post 809 and Binh Duong province’s health sector, aiming to raise youths’ awareness in keeping and defending the country’s border areas and islands.
