For many years, May—recognized as Vietnam Workers’ Month—has marked a peak period for activities supporting trade unionists and workers in both material and spiritual aspects. In Binh Duong, Workers’ Month is also associated with the organization of the Workers’ Youth Week. Through this initiative, the Youth Union and Youth Federation, along with other mass organizations in the province, join hands to implement many meaningful programs and activities for workers and young laborers.
In response to Vietnam Workers’ Month and the 18th Binh Duong Workers’ Youth Week 2025, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has launched a vibrant campaign among district- and city-level youth unions and their branches to carry out practical, effective support activities for workers, especially young ones. Specifically, along with organizing the “Youth Day to Support Young Workers and Laborers”, providing financial aid, honoring “Outstanding Young Workers” and presenting gifts to Youth Union secretaries, clubs and groups’ leaders and young workers, provincial Youth Union is also promoting the “Digital Literacy for All” movement. This movement aims at helping young workers participate effectively in the digital transformation process. Accordingly, Youth Union branches across the province are deploying "Digital Literacy" volunteer teams to communicate, guide and encourage workers to access and use information technology applications; install and activate electronic identification accounts; access public service portals and use digital platforms to perform various online transactions.
In addition, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation are linking this year’s Workers’ Month and Workers’ Youth Week with the effective implementation of provincial project on uniting and gathering young workers and laborers. This includes practical care models such as the “Young Workers' Connection Club” and “Dream Room” as well as mobilizing the establishment of new Youth Union branches in lodging facilities houses and non-state enterprises. During this peak period, Youth Union organizations will also intensify communication campaigns on civil behavior in cyberspace and the building of a cultured, civilized lifestyle. They will continue raising awareness and encouraging workers and young laborers to comply with the Party’s and State’s policies, especially especially the policy of streamlining the political apparatus, administrative units...
It can be said that with many rich and diverse activities, Vietnam Workers' Month and Binh Duong provincial Youth Workers' Week in 2025 will aim at practically caring for workers and youth workers in the province, thereby arousing the spirit of solidarity and sense of responsibility of workers and youth workers in emulation in production and labor, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.
