On the morning of May 19, Standing Committee of the City Youth Union and Young Pioneers’ Council of Thu Dau Mot City organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting and Tree Care Festival, Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); respond to World Environment Day June 5 and carry out the movement "Each youth union member plants and cares for 1 tree, each house has a green space".
At the ceremony, more than 140 delegates including youth union members, and students planted nearly 200 trees on public land on DX 95 Street, Ward 7, Hiep An Ward (Thu Dau Mot City).


l On the same morning, at Nguyen Van Cu Junior High School, Education and Training Office of Thu Dau Mot City held a launching ceremony to respond to "Tet planting and caring for trees to forever remember President Ho Chi Minh". In 2024, together with authorities at all levels, the education sector of Thu Dau Mot City has achieved many remarkable achievements in urban greening work. In particular, the program "One school, one green garden" has been implemented in 60 public schools from kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school; at the same time, taking care of and establishing nurseries in 55 non-public schools in the area.
l On May 19, People's Committee of Chanh Nghia Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) organized a launching ceremony for "Tet planting and caring for trees to forever remember Uncle Ho", along with the implementation of the campaign to green Thu Dau Mot urban area.
At the ceremony, representatives of departments, organizations, schools, neighborhoods in the ward and many people participated in planting 310 trees on local public lands.
