On the morning of August 15, provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held a ceremony to send out volunteers, who are priests, monks and parishioners, to participate in theCovid-19 prevention and control. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Vo Van Ba, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Internal Affairs Board; Bishop Nguyen Tan Tuoc, Bishop of Phu Cuong Diocese; and priests, monks and parishioners took part in the ceremony.
Supporting the Covid-19 prevention and control is a very difficult task, which can affect the health of those directly involved. However, with their kind hearts, priests, monks and parishioners were not afraid of difficulties and volunteered to participate in anti-epidemic work to contribute to protecting the public health, showing the determination to defeat the pandemic, soon bring back the normal life.
The departure ceremony praised 184 volunteers from Phu Cuong Diocese before they join the anti-pandemic forces. The volunteers will directly participate in epidemic prevention and control works in Tan Uyen town. Their specific tasks will be assigned by Tan Uyen Town Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention Control.

To act for public health, volunteers were not afraid of difficulties, got on buses and headed to Tan Uyen Town to participate in the anti-pandemic struggle.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Loc said that the situation in the province is complicated. Binh Duong is going through an unprecedented difficult time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The entire political system from the province to the grassroots levels, branches, and people from all walks of life have put the highest concentration and taken most drastic actions to prevent, control the disease. Many organizations, individuals and business communities inside and outside the province have shared difficulties and contributed human resources, vehicles, goods and funds to the province's epidemic prevention and control, especially the valuable contributions of religious leaders, monks, and parishioners in the province in general and Phu Cuong Diocese in particular.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyen Van Loc appreciated and respectfully acknowledges the contributions of dignitaries, and fellow Catholics to the common development of the province, especially to the prevention and control of Covid-19 in the province.
