Right after an approval on project of the provincial office for youth support and consultancy was issued, the provincial People’s Committee delivered a Decision 3863/QD-UBND on ratifying project of young worker gathering for the 2011-2015 period. The project has a total value of over VND46.6bil and duration of 5 years.

The project is to expand and reinforce local young worker gathering, promulgate, educate and raise legal execution awareness for young workers, contributing to building local working class in the industrialization and modernization. The project also aims at satisfying demand and legitimate interest of young workers and building harmonic, stable and advanced relations in companies and creating an awareness of “Binh Duong is the second homeland” for young workers.
The project’s concrete goal is to develop and improve the quality of operation of youth unions, clubs for youths at boarding houses, companies, build a key cadre source, foster at least 1,000 young workers to recommend to party organization.
Some contents and basic solutions of the project aim at developing sub-unions, clubs for youths and newly establishing grassroot youth unions and women unions at all levels for the sake of young worker gathering.
The project has upheld and maintained activities for young workers. Programs of local youth union underway have contributed to educate, take care for young workers.
By proposed goals and solutions, it is hoped that the project will be a foundation for reaching successes in gathering young workers.
