The weekend playground
In the campus of Thanh An house of Quarter 3, Hiep An Ward, Thu Dau Mot city, young workers had a very happy Sunday. Accordingly, they participated in folk game booths, got free haircuts, job placement advice, legal support and cultural exchanges. The Program Organizing Committee also gave gifts to workers in difficult circumstances to encouraging them to continue working and rising in life.
That was the "Weekend Playground" organized by the provincial Youth Activities Center in coordination with Hiep An ward Youth Union to effectively implement the Project of "Office for consulting and supporting youth development in Binh Duong province" in stage 3 of 2022-2025 when the center ensures the implementation of the goal of organizing 50 weekend playgrounds for 35,000 youths and young workers at the center headquarters and rented houses in the province. In the coming time, the center will organize many exchanges, general art performances, and diverse weekend playground content on Saturdays and Sundays to serve them.
According to the plan and project implementation targets, the center also participated in organizing other activities for young workers such as consulting, legal support, reproductive health, marriage, family, and careers, employment,training on starting a business and establishing a business,career orientation etc.
To mobilize resources
The project of "Unifying and gathering youths and young workers in Binh Duong province" has practical meaning as it has received close leadership and direction from the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, synchronous coordination of project steering committee members, project organizing committees at all levels, departments, branches and organizations in the province. Along with that and with the agreement and support of businesses, house owners have created favorable conditions in organizing useful activities and programs for workers.
Recently, the organizing committee implementing the project at all levels has taken advantage of social resources and the close coordination of departments, branches and localities to bring positive effects to propaganda and care for young workers. In particular, project organizers at all levels regularly coordinate with branches to organize propaganda sessions, mobile legal consultations, mock trials among others.
Every year, the project steering committee at all levels maintains the festival "Supporting youths and workers", "Lighting up the dreams of young workers", "Vietnamese goods market at original prices for young workers". Along with that, activities of visiting and giving gifts to young workers in difficult circumstances, giving away bus and train tickets to young workers with difficulties returning to their hometowns, providing labor recruitment information and organizing cultural, artistic, sports and physical activities have been organized to improve the spiritual life of workers.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, said that by joining hands to implement the project, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has promoted youth projects and models of care for young workers and people. At all levels, the Union mobilized house owners to support the construction of a "Youth Model" rented house, awarded "Dream Rooms", awarded scholarships, "Learning Corners for children of young workers" and organized programs serving children of young workers.
In addition, the Youth Union from the province to the grassroots also implemented Project No. 03-DA/TU of the provincial Party Standing Committee on "Supporting resources to carry out the work of building and developing Party and political organizations, social and political values in non-state-owned enterprises in Binh Duong province in 2022-2025" to have also increased practical support activities and programs for young workers.
The results of programs and projects along with mobilizing social resources have contributed to taking care of our material and spiritual lives, supporting young workers to overcome difficulties, and feel secure in living and working in Binh Duong.
