Strengthening consultancy and support activities for
youths in learning, labor and creation
Youths are young workforce, greatly contributing to the country’s socio-economic development, especially when the country is in the period of international integration. “Upholding the role of youths in labor-creation” has been concretized in the Resolution No.5 NQ/TWDTN of the 6th session of the 9th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee’s Standing Board dated Feb.24, 2010.
Trying hard
Youths need to realize that labor and creation to contribute the common development of the province are their responsibility for the situation when the whole province is making efforts to build and develop Binh Duong into a civilized and prosperous city in the future. Youths in any fields are also able to take part in the labor and creation movement.
Pupils need to actively study and research initiatives for innovating learning and teaching ways; equip themselves with necessary knowledge about foreign languages, information technology…at the demand for intellectual workforce in the integration period. Meanwhile, rural youths need to raise their knowledge, apply sci-tech advancements in production and business, contributing to promoting the local development. State employees need to realize the “thrift-wastefulness prevention” movement, the “three responsibilities” movement, take part in administrative reform…Urban youths needs to try their best to implement civilized lifestyle, get involved in keeping traffic order and safety, preventing social evils…
Over the past time, many youth models herein also effectively worked via the activities of “Youths show creativeness”…
More support for youths
Provincial Youth Unions and Societies at all levels have put forwarded many support plans for youths to uphold their role in labor and creation, making contributions to the local socio-economic development. Accordingly, many new contents will be annually implemented such as promoting the “Club for young creativeness” model; organizing the “Young sci-tech creative” contest…
In addition, they will strengthen cooperation with relevant sectors and departments to organize the pilot projects on sci-tech application, agricultural promotion…; give vocational training to rural youths; provide loans for poor youths to develop homebased business; develop support funds for youths; praise and replicate role-models in the labor-creation movement…
Upholding the role of youths in labor and creation contributes to helping youths have the will of rising up and enriching themselves, their families and society…, said provincial Youth Union Secretary Vo Van Minh.
