Under the campaign, so far, provincial Women’s Union has set up 16 clubs of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” with 608 members and 45 propagandic groups with 651 members. Their goals are to commit to trade in high-quality Vietnam-made goods and ensure food safety & hygiene; regularly propagandize and mobilize women to select high-quality Vietnam-made goods, contributing to building Vietnamese trademarks.
Ben Cat district’s Women’s Union is one of the province’s women’s unions excelling at implementing this campaign. Nguyen Thi Anh Diep, vice-chairwoman of the district’s Women’s Union said that boosting information dissemination is very important to change women’s habit to use Vietnamese goods.
Members of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” clubs herein have sought information on many high-quality Vietnam-made goods and introduced them to women. Through the “Vietnamese people give priority to use Vietnamese goods” market days, the district’s Women’s Union has also guided women how to select commodities suitable to their demand and financial ability…These efforts have contributed to raising women’s awareness of using Vietnamese goods.
According to Mrs.Bay, provincial Women’s Union and its affiliates have also teamed up with relevant agencies to hold the market days of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside” with many attractive promotion programs, greatly affecting women’s awareness of using Vietnamese goods and contributing to affirming the quality of domestically made goods.
Possibly speaking, the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign has created a consensus across the entire society. Customers have been interested in buying Vietnamese goods. But, businesses also need to make more investment for manufacturing high-quality products to meet customers’ demand.
