According to the provincial Traffic Safety Committee, traffic accidents at the locality declined in the first half of this year. The result is thanks to the acceleration of promulgations on traffic safety to the community.
Many routes will be installed cameras to curb violations on traffic safety.
Possibly speaking, all sectors in the province have contributed to curb the traffic accidents. Specifically, the local sector of Education and Training has steered promulgations on traffic safety at schools, as well as launched emulation movements of traffic safety.
Besides, the sector in cooperation with the division of Traffic Policemen and Railway Sector has held promulgation on Road and Railway Traffic Laws for schools of Vo Minh Duc, An My, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Hung Vuong… with the participation of over 5,100 students. Besides, the sector has launched contests on traffic safety at all levels, luring more than 800 preschool and primary students.
In addition, the department in coordination with the provincial Traffic Safety Committee, Radio and Television Station has held a traffic safety contest for 28 schools and 7 continuing education centers.
The work of traffic safety promulgation has been constantly conducted on media through news programs to reflect violations and honor typical examples on traffic safety.
Especially, the work of promulgation among residential community has been boosted more. Units of youth union, women union, farmers union and so on have maintained propagations on traffic safety and mobilized local residents, youths and unionists to obey road traffic law.
Only in the first half of this year, the entire province conducted over 6,000 promulgations with the participation of over 324,000 people, distributed over 42,000 leaflets, 250 books of road traffic law as well as held many contests on traffic safety through lively forms to improve local residents’ awareness.
To ensure traffic order in the rest of this year, the local Traffic Safety Committee will focus on boosting promulgations on traffic safety among community. Accordingly, units of farmers union, women union and educational sector will hold mobile promulgations at populous areas. Meanwhile, public security sector will reinforce patrols across routes to settle violations on traffic safety.
