*Ceremony commemorating 55th anniversary of his passing held
Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education Commission has recently issued guidelines for propaganda activities commemorating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024) and the 55th anniversary of his passing (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024).
Accordingly, the content of communications focuses on the profound theoretical and practical values in the testament; affirm the everlasting value of the testament, which is an extremely important historical document, the crystallization of the ideology, culture, intelligence, morality and noble soul of a great man who has brought glory to the country of Vietnam; honoring and deeply expressing gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolution; affirming that the life, career, ideology and morality of Ho Chi Minh always live forever in the heart of every Vietnamese person, guiding the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country to victory.
The communications aim to evaluate, summarize the achievements, lessons learned in 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, with a focus on promoting the great victory in the struggle for the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; steadfastly pursuing the goal of national independence associated with socialism; building a truly united, pure and strong Party; achievements in the cause of building, defending and developing the country…
Based on the actual conditions and situations, each agency, locality and unit will organize propaganda activities in appropriate forms, focusing on propaganda through the press, the internet and social networks; publications and propaganda materials; through seminars, discussions, speaker and propagandist conferences, and regular activities of political and social organizations; visual propaganda activities (exhibitions, cultural and artistic performances, sports...), ensuring effectiveness and practicality.
*Early August 24, the Standing Committee of provincial Youth Union and Thuan An city’s Youth Union co-organized a ceremony to commemorate the 55th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's passing. The ceremony was attended by Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, Thuan An City, along with a large number of Youth Union members at the Thuan An Hoa War Zone Relic Site.

Also at the ceremony, the organizers awarded 10 scholarships and portraits of President Ho Chi Minh to 10 poor-but-excellent students in Thuan An city.
