With 2017’s theme “For the sake of trade unionists”, province-based Industrial Parks (IPs)’Trade Union have launched numerous emulation movements to arouse self-awareness and creativeness among workers while helping them obviously realizing the role of Trade Union in protecting their legitimate rights-interests.
Le Nho Luong, Chairman of province-based IPs’Trade Union said that the Trade Union last year attached special importance to innovating its operational contents and forms, especially in the task of training officials at grassroots level. The Trade Union also set up additional 35 trade union locals, bringing the total number of trade union locals so far to 393. Till now, there have been 375 enterprises with working regulations set up by trade union locals; 338 establishing and adjusting salary scales; 157 having collective labor deals; 137 organizing periodic dialogues…

Also according to Mr.Luong, the activities of province-based IPs’Trade Union over the past time were appreciated highly. It was not only a firm mainstay of laborers, but also a place helping enterprises build up stable and harmonious labor relations.
Province-based IPs’Trade Union has also set up 2017’s major tasks, including boosting a task of protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests; deeply and widely disseminating the Party and State’s policies and laws among them; well realizing activities to take care of their spiritual and material lives…
Noticeably, province-based IPs’Trade Union has launched 2017’s emulation movement under the theme of “For the sake of trade unionists”. Mr.Luong said that this is an emulation movement to set achievements in celebration of the 15th anniversary of province-based IPs’Trade Union (January 2, 2002-January 2, 2017), Trade Union locals’ Congresses towards the 4th Congress of province-based IPs’Trade Union, great holidays and events of the country.
The emulation movement also aims to bring into full play the tradition of Vietnamese working class, Trade Union and arouse self-awareness and creativeness among workers in order to make strong changes in Trade Unions at all levels and laborers’ awareness of the importance of reward and emulation in the period of national industrialization and modernization. This will contribute to finding out role-models in the movement of “Working well, working creatively”; upholding technical innovations by laborers in production…
Mr.Nho added that with the above theme, all activities of Trade Unions at all levels of the province this year will be implemented for the sake of trade unionists.
