Over the past few days, the province drastically implemented large-scale Covid-19 testing. The province continuously took samples for Covid-19 testing on people in high-risk areas and thoroughly implemented regulations on social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16 in the spirit of "stay where one is". All is for the ultimate goal of soon repelling the pandemic to bring a peaceful life to the people.

A "green core" in the "red zone" in Di An city’s Binh Thang ward has just been established
To ensure rapid reconstruction and maintenance of the "green zone", Dau Tieng district’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has urgently mobilized the entire political system to implement large-scale Covid-19 testing on the principle of giving priority to cleaning high-risk areas, taking advantage of the time of social distancing to effectively combine professional measures such as carrying out Covid-19 screening, vaccination, tightening measures against the pandemic in the inner region and other areas adjacent to other localities. Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of the district’s People's Committee said that with professional measures implemented in a serious, synchronous and drastic manner, as of August 6, the district well contained the pandemic. The district has begun focusing on sharing isolation, treatment for Covid-19 patients with localities in the "red zone".
Similarly, other localities such as Bau Bang, Phu Giao, North Tan Uyen districts and Ben Cat town are also constantly racing against time to better control the pandemic. These localities are rapidly and drastically implementing measures against the pandemic in the spirit of "reconstruction and maintenance of the “green zone" in order to invade and clean the "red zone".
Preserving the green core in the "red zone"
Along with the strategy of reconstructing and maintaining the "green zone" in the northern districts and towns, the province has also directed southern localities to synchronously and drastically implement plans for zoning, controlling the pandemic in the spirit of "preserving and expanding the green core in the red zone". Accordingly, from now to the end of August 2021, localities in the "red zone" need to mobilize the entire political system and resources among the people to well curb the pandemic; try to maintain and gradually expand the existing green cores, narrow high-risk areas…
Whilst, Di An city is continuing deploying troops to strictly implement social distancing for Covid-19 prevention and control. Along with the effective operation of anti-Covid-19 forces in 7 wards, the city has also regularly organized inter-sectoral delegations to remind and handle cases violating regulations on pandemic prevention and control. As of August 6, with the smooth and effective coordination of mobile patrol teams and checkpoints, the situation of social distancing in the city was implemented well.
Along with activities to tighten social distancing, the city has also established nearly 150 safe areas. These "green cores in the red zone" are now controlled, protected by city and ward-level anti-pandemic forces. According to the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the city is trying to mobilize the entire political system and people to participate in expanding the green cores. The city is also striving to narrow areas with the complicated developments of the pandemic and focus all resources on curbing the pandemic by August 15.
From the actual combat over the past 2 months, leaders of the "red zones" have got valuable experience, helping their localities to better carry out measures against Covid-19 pandemic. With the province's clear strategy, along with a large number of vaccines against Covid-19 pandemic supported and timely Covid-19 vaccine distribution, it is believed that localities will quickly zone and well control the "green zone", repelling the pandemic in the coming time.
