Early April 19, provincial People’s Committee forwarded a conference to review the local program on child protection, care and education in the 2011-2015 period, which was presided over by provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Dang Minh Hung.
The program was implemented across the province. Through the program’s projects, providing the local services on child protection, care and education actually went into order and discipline. When being discovering, all children suffering domestic violence, sexual abuse received support and care from the program.
Addressing the conference, Mr.Hung spoke highly of achievements from the program; acknowledged contributions by those who are in charge of the local child protection, care and education. He also affirmed that child protection, care and education were seen as one of the Party and State’s top policies in ensuring social welfare towards sustainable development.
In order to successfully realize the program’s targets between 2016 and 2020, he suggested sectors, departments, mass organizations, the People’s Committees at all levels of the province to further join hands to well carry out their management functions and tasks in terms of child protection, care and education…
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 20 individuals; 69 collectives and 37 individuals were also presented the certificates of merit of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for their excellent performance in the program between 2011 and 2015.
