Early Dec.2, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received and worked with a delegation of the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan, about the province’s urban planning and architecture management at provincial Administration Center.
After hearing a report by provincial Department of Construction on the local overall urban planning, Mr.Liem said that Binh Duong still faces obstacles in regional connection. The province’s policy in urban development and planning is to put focus on promoting new urban areas and the old ones in accordance with the set priority order. Therefore, he wanted that the Ministry of Construction would give the province more instructions for better results in this task.
Concluding the working session, Mr.Toan spoke highly of Binh Duong’s urban planning while requiring the province to quickly map out regulations on urban architecture management towards modern and environmentally friendly development, pay attention to the quality of urban plans that must be corresponding to the local overall development plans.
