Province hands over decisions of completing concentrated isolation period to over 550 people

Early February 15, provincial Health Department’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention handed over decisions of completing 14-day isolation period for Covid-19 prevention and control to 277 students, lecturers from Thu Dau Mot University. Sixty-nine cases isolated at Thu Dau Mot city’s old Military Command and 7 ones at the Culture-Sports Center of Tan An ward in Thu Dau Mot city received also the decisions.

These students and  lecturers were also required to make medical declarations with the local government for medical guidance and monitoring within 14 days since the date receiving the decisions of completing concentrated isolation. They also need to continue sufficiently realizing the 5K recommendation (Khẩu trang (face mask) - Khử khuẩn (disinfection) - Khoảng cách (social distancing) - Không tụ tập (avoiding crowded gathering) - Khai báo y tế (making medical declaration) suggested by the Ministry of Health.

Leaders of Thu Dau Mot University said that the school will organize e-learning for the above students during the 14-day monitoring period. After receicing the decisions of completing isolation period to these students, they were taken to the school and then continued returning home.

*On February 14, all the 202 people in the concentrated isolation zone of Bau Bang district’s Health Center completed their isolation period. They were very joyful to return home for Tet with their families.

It is known that these people were isolated as being related to the patient 1801. On January 31, they were taken to the above isolation zone as stipulated. After testing negative three times for the coronavirus and completing 14-day isolation period, they were allowed to return home. But, they will continue making self-isolation at home and comply with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
