On the afternoon of February 14, provincial Farmers ‘Association held its 4th Executive Board conference with focus on reviewing farmers ‘movements in 2019 and extending tasks for 2020, in attendance of Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
In 2019, provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels were proactive to carry out farmers ‘movements with active results. They also admitted additional 1,388 members, bringing the total number of members so far to 50,028; coordinated with relevant agencies to develop 11 cooperatives, 4 cooperative groups. The whole province now has a total of 34,259 farming households with the title of “good farmers in production-business” at all levels.
Speaking at the conference, Mr.Loc asked for provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels to boost dissemination of information about the Party’s policies and the State’s laws in association with patriotic emulation movements; be proactive to work with relevant agencies and mass organizations to realize programs, projects on the local socio-economic development.
