Provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism reported the result of implementation of provincial Tourism Development Plan till 2020 and vision towards 2030 at a meeting held by provincial People’s Council’s Cultural-Social Affairs Board on May 26.
Attending the meeting were Nguyen Minh Giao, Head of provincial Commission of Education and Propaganda, Head of provincial People’s Council’s Cultural-Social Affairs Board together with leaders of sectors and localities in the province.
In the 2011-2015 period, the local growth of tourist arrival and revenue reached 2.3% and 7.3%, respectively. The whole province as of Q1, 2015 had a total of 467 residence business units, including 26 hotels with standard from 1 to 5 stars.
