Province prepares well in all aspects to successfully organize major holidays and important commemorative events

On April 10, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Organizing Committee for Major Holidays, chaired a meeting to listen to reports on preparations for major holidays and important commemorative events of the country in the second quarter of 2024. The meeting was also attended by Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee.

At the meeting, Bui Huu Toan, Director of Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, reported on plans and preparations for major holidays and important commemorative events in the second quarter of 2024, like: Hung King's Death Anniversary (March 10 of the lunar calendar); the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the 49th anniversary of the Southern liberation and the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the 134th President Ho Chi Minh's birthday ( May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024)...

Speaking at the meeting, Ha acknowledged the delegates' contributions to report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee; he recommended units with assigned tasks need to prepare well in all aspects, so that the organization of major holidays and important commemorative events could take place solemnly, meaningfully, on purpose, and safely.
