Province receices many support resources for Covid-19 prevention and control

On the afternoon of August 4, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) received medical equipment from Phuong Trang Group to serve the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

Particularly, Phuong Trang Group donated 5 ventilators and 2 oxygen generators worth about VND 1 billion to the province in a bid to support the local fight against the pandemic. After receiving these medical equippment, provincial FFC handed over them to provincial Center for Disease Control to treat Covid-19 patients.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial FFC expressed his deep thanks and handed over the gratitude board to Phuong Trang Group for the above support. This support resource will actively contribute to treating Covid-19 patients, working together with the province to well perform pandemic prevention and control in the coming time.

*On August 4, provincial Red Cross Society received 10 tons of dragon fruits from the gratitude shipment of "Sharing love - overcoming the pandemic together" awarded by the Central Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization.

After receiving the above amount of dragon fruits, provincial Red Cross Society distributed 5 tons to Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society and 5 tons to Dau Tieng district’s  Red Cross Society in order to support the local anti-Covid-19 forces and people with difficult circumstances.

*On the same day, provincial Red Cross Society held the 18th  humanitarian market-day with 300 gifts offered to disadvantaged workers staying in Thu Dau Mot city.

The society also donated 300 gifts worth VND 500,000 each to provincial Army Section; continued offering 4,300 meals to forces on duty at checkpoints, isolation and blockade areas. It is known that all goods for the above-mentioned support activities are funded by donors, organizations, businesses and people in and out of the province.

*On the afternoon of August 4, Suntech Vina Co., Ltd. at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park presented a symbolic board of US$ 100,000 to the province in a bid to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

*On the morning of the same day, Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee received more than VND 1.22 billion from the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank)’s Binh Duong branch and Song Than Industrial Park branch.
