Province receives more commodities to share with people hit by Covid-19

On August 29, Nguyen Huynh Dinh, Vice-Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 35,000 eggs from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Working Group 970 and Greenfeed Company for the local poor laborers.

This is one of “Sharing sweetness, sadness, accompanying in Covid-19 fight" activities done by the  Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Working Group 970 to share difficulties with people affected by the pandemic in provinces and cities nationwide.

*On the same day, provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 1 ton of rice and 3 tons of vegetables and fruits delivered by Most Venerable Thich Dong Tan from Duc Bon A Lan Nha Communal House in Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Dang district, aiming to share difficulties with disadvantaged people in Binh Duong province. These goods ware handed over to provincial Red Cross to carry out activities to support the local disadvantaged people and workers affected by the pandemic.

*Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has mobilized cooperatives, businesses and farms in the province to participate in supporting agricultural products for provincial Red Cross Society and Fatherland Front Committee to distribute them to the local people with difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, province-based cooperatives, businesses and farms have donated more than 10 tons of vegetables, 100kg of rock melons, 14,500 eggs, 10,000 sets of chicken intestines, 7,000 seed packs; 200 jars of chao (fermented tofu), 1,750 bottles of fish sauce... and more than VND 1 billion to the province to support the local people affected by the pandemic.
