After hearing reports and opinions from members of the Steering Committee on Covid-19 prevention and control over the past few days, the Steering Committee requested agencies, units and localities to coordinate with army medical corps to accelerate the implementation of Covid-19 vaccinations under the plan so that each citizen in the province is given at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine. They also need to recheck the total number of people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 so that provincial People's Committee can use this as a basis to request the Ministry of Health to further allocate more Covid-19 vaccines to the province. In addition, they need to further persist in testing in order to quickly detect and isolate F0 cases from the community under the plan on taking samples for testing many times on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days. They need to focus on completing testing within 3 days for the "red" localities in order to have a basis for assessing the implementation of the “new normal” state in the coming time.
Regarding the collection and treatment of F0 cases at hospitals and field treatment facilities, provincial Steering Committee of Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested the local health sector to urgently purchase Covid-19 drugs to ensure that there are enough drugs to serve treatment of patients while urgently rechecking localities with the high mortality rate, due to Covid-19 for timely support in treatment of severe and critical F0 cases, minimizing the number of deaths. Especially, the sector needs to re-evaluate treatment floors for more effective organization; logically arrange mobile medical stations in the “red” and “green” localities, industrial compounds and parks; to be fully equipped with vehicles, human resources, medical supplies, oxygen tanks and necessary drugs… to ensure that people have the fastest access to healthcare anytime and anywhere; continue strengthening forces to ensure security and order at field treatment facilities.
Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control also suggested provincial People's Committee to set up an operational plan in the "new normal" state after September 15 and assign personnel to be in charge of communes and wards to support pandemic prevention and control.
