This is one of contents of the Directive No.11/CT-UBND just issued by provincial People’s Committee on increasing a task of voluntary blood donation mobilization in 2015.
Under the Directive, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee has asked for leaders of authorities at all levels, agencies, mass organizations, schools and enterprises to further boost propaganda and mobilization of voluntary blood donation; mobilize at least 20% of officials, civil servants, Youth Union members and students to get involved in the voluntary blood donation campaign, strive to reach a target of receiving more than 16,000 units of blood in 2015.
The Directive also specified that provincial Red Cross Society has been responsible for teaming up with relevant agencies to make concrete plans; apportioning targets for units; ensuring necessary equipment for mobilization, propaganda as well as for receiving blood; speeding up propaganda and mobilization…
Besides, provincial Department of Health has instructed province-based hospitals to coordinate with provincial Red Cross Society, Cho Ray Hospital’s Center for Blood Transfusion and Hematology to receive blood and ensure safety in blood transfusion while mobilizing all staff of the sector to actively take part in propaganda and mobilization of voluntary blood donation …
