To mark the National Fire Prevention and Fight Day, October 4, the province’s anti-fire police have just organized a manoeuvre against fire to raise public awareness of fire prevention and fighting.
This was a chance for the local anti-fire forces and enterprises to improve their skills against fire and effectively use anti-fire equipment. The manoeuvre against fire absorbed more than 80 units across the province, including communes, wards, schools and enterprises. It was implemented in three places: Phu Giao district, Thuan An and Di An towns. Here are some photos about the manoeuvre.

The organizing board of the anti-fire manoeurve in the Region V, including Tan Uyen town, North Tan Uyen district and Phu Giao district, presented flowers, souvenir banners to 26 participating units. The event took place on October in Phu Giao district.

Propaganda trucks designed by participating units took part in a parade over main streets of Phuoc Vinh township in Phu Giao district.

Units took part in a 100-meter run to stamp out the fire and rescue victims.

Vo Van Ba (middle), Chairman of Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee awarded the banners and the certificates of merit to participating units with high achievements. Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company topped the manoeurve. It was followed by the People’s Committee of An Long commune and the People’s Committee of Tan Hiep commune. Three consolation prices went to Phu Giao district’s Military Command, the People’s Committee of Phuoc Sang commune and the People’s Committee of Phuoc Hoa commune.

The anti-fire manoeurve in the region of Thuan An town took place on October 2 with the participation of 34 teams, including 4 State agencies, 7 communes, wards and 23 enterprises. As a result, Pung Kook Sai Gon III Co.Ltd. finished first. Hsin-Y Wood Industry Co.Ltd. ranked second while the People’s Committee of Vinh Phu ward took third position. Consolation prize went to the People’s Committee of An Thanh ward. In picture: Locals were enthusiastic to encourage participants.
