With the theme of “Youth get involved in volunteer activities for the sake of the community”, the 2014 summer youth volunteer campaign of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union will be organized with many practical activities.
Provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union will implement 4 big programs: “urban civilization”, “civilization at workplace-the beauty of Youth Union members”; “green environment”; “new rural construction” and “Volunteer activities towards national sea and islands” during the campaign. Particularly, the Youth Union will provide free medical check-up and medicine for 1,000 poor and gratitude households; mobilize Youth Union members and people to give priority to using Vietnamese goods; give legal support for Youth Union members, young workers; open training courses on sci-tech transfer in cultivation and animal husbandry for those in new rural areas…The bloc’s youth volunteer squads from Binh Duong Junior College of Economics will participate in volunteer activities in the remote communes of Bau Bang and North Tan Uyen districts from July 1 to 10.
According to Nguyen Vo Thanh Thao, Vice-Secretary of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union, the bloc’s Youth Union will team up with the Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot city to get involved in some significant activities during the campaign. “It is expected that we will co-organize 2 big programs with such contents as opening a market-day selling goods with stabilized price, organizing cultural and sports activities, providing free medical check-ups and medicine for young workers, presenting 10 houses of compassion…together with many significant activities”.
