Along with attaching special importance to education and propaganda work, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union realized a lot of practical movements, namely “Volunteering for socio-economic development and national defence”, “Going along with youths in establishing their position in life and setting themselves up in business”…, contributing to promoting “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” among Youth Union members, pupils and students in the mid tenure of 2012 and 2017.
Provincial Agencies bloc’s Young Physicians’ Club providing free medical check-ups and medicine for elderly people and young workers
The project of “Improving youth’s awareness of the law” is seen as a highlight in the movement of “Volunteering for the sake of the community” done by provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union. Over the past time, the bloc’s youth volunteer squad on law dissemination and relevant units organized 14 mock trials and 14 shows on law dissemination for tens of thousands of young workers and locals.
The bloc’s Young Physicians’ Club also provided free medical check-ups and medicine for more than 4,200 poor patients in the remote areas of the province with a total expense of approximately VND700mln; presented more than 10,000 notebooks and 350 sets of textbooks; organized 30 training courses on sci-tech advancements in animal husbandry and cultivation for farmers and rural youths; delivered thousands of leaflets on agricultural production techniques for farmers; installed 632 meters of clean water pipes in communes of Phuoc Hoa and Vinh Hoa communes in Phu Giao district…
Vu Anh Tuan, Secretary of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union said that many creative models in “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”, carrying out resolutions of Youth Union congresses at all levels were discovered from the bloc’s youth movements. The bloc’s Youth Union and its affiliates were very flexible in implementing special subjects among Youth Union members; put forward creative measures in implementing the contents of the “Youth joining hands in new rural construction” campaign; carried out a survey of the plan extending activities on agricultural production development in Thuan An town’s An Son commune in the 2012-2015 period…
Many exemplary role-models were also discovered through “working creatively” movements. For example, Doan Thanh Lung of provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Youth Union successfully researched a software on agricultural management. Or. Do Huu Nghiem of provincial Tax Department’s Youth Union built up a score roll for initiatives…They contributed to strongly encouraging the bloc’s youngsters to create technical initiatives and innovations, especially well realize research on reforming administrative procedures in line with their units.
With concrete and practical deeds, 95% of branches of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union won the “strong” title in the mid tenure of 2012 and 2017.
