"Happy Party, Happy Spring"
In welcoming the Snake Spring of 2025, the armed forces of Binh Duong province organized a variety of vibrant spring activities, enhancing the spirit of solidarity and determination to successfully accomplish their assigned tasks. As part of a series of activities to celebrate the Party and the Tet Festival 2025, over two days (January 26 and 27), the Military Command organized a contest to "Wrap and cook “bánh chưng”, and “bánh tét”; prepare Tet feasts; decorate the national altar; Tet parallel sentences and wall newspapers". The total value of these gifts amounted to nearly 100 million VND.
The Military Service Council from 14 wards in the city presented gifts of encouragement to 280 young men who are preparing to join the army in 2025. This program aims to promote the tradition of military-civilian solidarity in the effort to build and defend our Fatherland. Keep the new spring peaceful
In the days leading up to, during, and after Tet, the combat readiness of the provincial armed forces officers and soldiers increased significantly. The combat readiness assignment plan was issued well in advance, organizing forces to patrol and secure their assigned areas. Additionally, they are practicing their combat readiness plans to proactively handle any situations that may arise during Tet and the festivals at the beginning of 2025.
Namely, The Thu Dau Mot City Military Command has coordinated efforts to practice and refine plans, ensuring they are prepared to quickly and effectively respond to situations, particularly in key areas, industrial zones, and densely populated regions. Military Commands across districts, cities, and communes, as well as wards and towns in the province, have worked closely with the police and other relevant units to provide valuable advice to the Party Committee and authorities for promptly addressing arising situations. Additionally, these units are focused on increasing security personnel and conducting round-the-clock patrols to ensure area safety.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Minh Tri, Commander of the Thu Dau Mot City Military Command, stated, “During this year’s Tet holiday, we not only maintained combat readiness according to regulations at all levels but also coordinated efforts to ensure social security and order at key locations requiring enhanced protection, as well as during festivals and cultural events that attract large crowds. Our unit has established a permanent militia force and has plans to mobilize additional mobile militia forces as needed. The city's military remains vigilant and works together to monitor the situation, all while keeping in mind the spirit of ‘enjoying spring without forgetting our duties.’”
To ensure high combat readiness during the Lunar New Year 2025 and big festivals in early 2025, the Provincial Military Command issued a plan and set out specific tasks for agencies, units and Military Commands of districts and cities. Accordingly, all agencies, units and localities have proactively reviewed, supplemented, completed and practiced combat readiness plans; prepared human resources, vehicles and facilities. The Provincial Military Command organized inspection teams and increased surprise inspections to grasp and promptly correct the implementation of training regimes and disciplines, on-duty and combat readiness at positions as well as the qualifications and awareness of components participating in performing combat readiness tasks.
Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said that to ensure political security and social order and safety before, during and after Tet, the Provincial Military Command has closely coordinated with the Provincial Police and relevant agencies to proactively deploy plans and options; and grasp the local situation. At the same time, the provincial military forces maintain combat readiness forces according to regulations; organize command, duty, combat duty, and mobile duty closely, assign specific and clear tasks, and be ready to coordinate to handle complex and urgent situations that arise. The provincial military assigned forces to coordinate to ensure absolute safety for cultural programs and festivals during Tet.
“In recent days, the coordination between the forces has been very effective, contributing to bringing a joyful and safe atmosphere for people to enjoy the spring and welcome the New Year,” said Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh.
During the Lunar New Year of 2025, the Provincial Military Command, along with various agencies and units within the provincial armed forces, instructed all officers and soldiers to enhance their awareness and responsibility regarding combat readiness. The aim is to ensure political security as well as social order and safety, allowing the public to enjoy the spring festivities and celebrate Tet in peace.
