*2015 Workers’Month and Week for Young Workers launched in Di An
Late May 16, provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union in collaboration with Binh Duong Garment One-Member Co.Ltd. kicked off the 8th Festival for Young Workers and organized a ceremony to launch the 2015 Workers’ Month and Week for Young Workers.
At the ceremony, the Youth Union held a lucky draw and an exchange with well-known singers from HCM city; presented gifts to 30 young workers living away from home with difficult circumstances; offered “outstanding young laborer” awards for 10 Youth Union officials and members who got excellent achievements in work and Youth Union movements. Two Youth Union branches of Binh Duong Football Joint Stock Company and Toyota Binh Duong Joint Stock Company also made their debut.
On the afternoon of the same day, the bloc’s Youth Union also took part in a festival for young workers with many significant activities, including providing free medical check-ups and medicine for young workers, organizing a competition learning about the law, a karaoke singing contest for young workers…
The festival also got animated with folk games, food booths and ones with sale-off products for young workers.
*Early May 17, Di An town’s Steering Board of Teenagers and Children’s Activities held a ceremony to launch the 2015 Workers’Month, Week for Young Workers and Festival for Young Workers.
In response to the 2015 Workers’Month, Week for Young Workers, the town’s Steering Board has implemented a lot of activities taking care of young workers’ material and spiritual lives; simultaneously conducting localities to organize practical activities for young workers.
The town’s Steering Board also kicked off the 2015 Festival for Young Workers with such meaningful activities as opening stalls selling goods at basic price; providing free medical check-ups and medicine; giving free medical consultancy, haircut; organizing fun-filled folk games…
In the evening of the same day, the festival continued taking place with an art performance themed “Singing with young workers” with special items performed by famous singers from HCM city and 7 wards of the town.
The Steering Board also donated 17 gifts worth VND500,000 each to young workers with difficult circumstances at the launching ceremony.
