Cultural activities prior to and after Tet holiday
will be held at the venue of Provincial Culture Center to meet entertaining and
leisure time demands of people in the season.
A banner flies high as greeting on one street
Currently, the stage has been furnished in preparation of welcoming Tet. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Nghia – Director of Culture Center, informed that performing activities will last from the 18th of lunar December to the 9th of lunar January.
Earliest held of all is spring fair on January 12-18 to service shopping and entertaining of local people. Artists from Ho Chi Minh City will perform from the 29th of December to 4th of January. Drum dancing, traditional singing performances, and activities are also held in the yard of the center.
On this occasion, 15 clubs of dragon and lion dancers will attend a contest on lunar January 5-8 to service audience, especially children. After the contest, art performances will follow as confirmed by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Nghia that quality will be improved.
On weekends, the center will coordinate to organize art programs with dances, plays, comedy, and cai luong as promising attractive activities.
In the meantime, the center has facilitated to spread out banners and posters to celebrate the upcoming Tet holiday and to beautify the streets.
On spring days, people will be refresh with new look of the streets and plenty celebrating activities.
