On April 18, a delegation from Binh Duong province, led by Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and relatives of fallen soldiers of the Hoang Lien Son II Battalion in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai who had been deployed to support Thu Dau Mot province during the resistance war against American imperialism.

At the reception for the delegation, Ly Binh Minh, Vice Chairman of Lao Cai provincial People’s Council expressed his admiration for Binh Duong’s economic development, especially in attracting investment and expanding its industrial sector, which has created jobs for millions of workers over the past years. Lao Cai expressed a desire to continue receiving cooperation and support from Binh Duong, particularly in policy-making and investment attraction, to achieve fast and sustainable development and catch up with more advanced localities. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Thanh thanked leaders of Lao Cai province for their warm welcome and affirmed that Binh Duong would continue strengthening its close and comprehensive relationship with Lao Cai in all fields.
*Following that, the delegation visited and presented gifts to two policy beneficiary families in Lao Cai city, including the family of Ma Cong Thang in Xuan Tang ward’s group 7 and Hoang Van Chai in Cam Duong commune. Both were soldiers from the Hoang Lien Son II Battalion who supported Thu Dau Mot province during the resistance war against American imperialism.
On this occasion, the delegation also met and gave gifts for 87 officers, soldiers and relatives of fallen soldiers from the Hoang Lien Son II Battalion who had participated in supporting Thu Dau Mot during the resistance war against American imperialism.
