On March 14, at Bau Bang District Party Committee, a provincial working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council, had a meeting with Standing Committee of Ben Cat City Party Committee and Bau Bang District Party Committee on the task performance under the direction of the Central Government and the province.

As reported provincial delegation, representatives of Ben Cat City and Bau Bang District leaders said that both localities have focused on thoroughly grasping, directing the concretization and timely and serious implementation of conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Provincial Party Committee on the apparatus reorganization of the political system. Up to now, the two localities have completed the arrangement of agencies and units according to regulations and instructions from superiors, ensuring the required time. Currently, these agencies have come into stable operation.
At the meeting, the leaders of Ben Cat City proposed that the Central and Provincial Party Committees consider the merger of communes, carefully assess impacts of the arrangement plan, forecast, identify difficulties, problems, and shortcomings that arise, and develop specific solutions; retain the name "Ben Cat" when implementing the arrangement of administrative units in the coming time, contributing to continuing to preserve the historical, cultural, and spiritual values of the heroic land of Ben Cat...

The leaders of Bau Bang district proposed that Provincial People's Committee directs relevant departments and branches to provide detailed guidance on implementing Official Dispatch No. 2400-CV/TU from Provincial Party Standing Committee, namely to temporarily suspend investments, repairs, and construction of headquarters, as well as the procurement of equipment at both district and commune levels; to quickly construct headquarters and invest in equipment for the commune-level police, following the cessation of the district-level police model to ensure the effective functioning of police force in the new context.
In his concluding remarks at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc praised the spirit of Ben Cat City and Bau Bang District in promptly and seriously implementing the conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Provincial Party Committee on the work of arranging the organization of the political system to operate effectively, efficiently and effectively.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc suggested that the two localities continue to reorganize their internal apparatus; focus on stabilizing the ideology of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to effectively carry out assigned tasks; complete investment projects in the area, especially the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses, medical and educational works, etc. Mr. Loc acknowledged recommendations of the two localities to report to Provincial Party Standing Committee.

According to reports from the two units, following the conclusion of district-level police activities, several new administrative areas and procedures have been transferred from district-level police to the police at commune and ward levels, like: include issuing ID cards, managing car and motorbike registrations… This transfer has now become routine and stable, in addition to the existing administrative procedures that are currently being implemented. The police of the two units also made recommendations and proposals to the delegation to contribute to better performing the tasks in the coming time.
