Early May 15, a delegation of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission and Fatherland Front Committee visited and congratulated Hoi Khanh pagoda in TDM city and some other pagodas in the province on the occasion of the Lord Buddha’s 2563rd birth anniversary.
In the visiting places, the delegation wished all Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers a peaceful Lord Buddha’s birthday season while speaking highly of contributions by provincial Buddhist Sangha to the local socio-economic development. The delegation also wanted provincial Buddhist Sangha to further uphold the fine tradition of Buddhism; mobilize Buddhist nuns, monks and followers to well realize the Party’s guidelines and State’s laws, actively take part in patriotic emulation movements and strengthen the great national unity bloc.
On behalf of the local Buddhist community, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board thanked the local authorities at all levels for their facilitation of religious practices. He also said that this year’s Lord Buddha’s birthday festival took place in harmony and solidarity, contributing to building up a more sustainable society.
The same day, provincial Military Command visited and wished Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers at Hoi Khanh pagoda a peaceful Lord Buddha’s birthday season.
