Early January 3, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST) reviewed its activities in 2019 and defined orientations, tasks for 2020.
The event was attended by Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Propaganda; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and representatives of sectors, departments in the district.
Last year, the province’s sector of culture and sports well realized the movement of “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle”, organized cultural-sports activities in celebration of great holidays…The sector paid more attention to building cultural-sports institutions at people’s demand. The local tourism activities reached stable growth, absorbing more than 5 million tourists, up 8.4% compared to 2018.
On this occasion, two artisans were awarded the title of meritorious artisan of the State President. Provincial DoCST also received the banner emulation for the best unit in the emulation movement 2019 of the southeastern region of the Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism. There were also 7 outstanding collectives and individuals awarded the certificate of merit of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 3 outstanding collectives winning the title of “Excellent collective”.
Addressing the conference, Mr.Hung spoke highly of results done by the local sector of culture, sports and tourism over the past year while suggesting the sector to continue building a streamlined and effective apparatus…
