Provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) has coordinated with relevant units to effectively and quickly administer Covid-19 vaccine shots for students from 7th to 12th grades, managerial officials, teachers and staff at educational institutions. As of March 10, 15,022 out of 15,027 teachers got the full two doses of Covid-19 vaccine and there were 99.97% with booster shots. There were also 98.23% of students in 7th, 8th , 9th grades and 99.15% of students at high schools and centers for vocational and continuing education with the full two doses of Covid-19 vaccine. For children at preschools and 6th graders who have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, provincial DoET is coordinating with provincial Department of Health to make statistics on the number of the subjects and will organize vaccinations when there are instructions from the Ministry of Health.
In terms of school reopening, provincial DoET has fully implemented guidance documents from central and local authorities and health sector; fully and promptly issued documents related to Covid-19 prevention and control in each time in accordance with the local developments of the pandemic.
