To ensure a green - clean – beautiful health environment to improve the quality of health services and public health, provincial Department of Health has developed a plan for implementing green - clean - beautiful health facilities.
The plan set specific objectives: 100% health facilities to be green - clean - beautiful; 100% public servants and employees working at health facilities to be trained and implement contents of green - clean - beautiful health facility. The plan was implemented in all health facilities, preventive health services, educational and research institutions conducting medical tests, from province-level to commune, ward, town-level.
The deployment must meet the following contents: green is maintaining, cultivating, supplementing taking care of trees; clean is the entire health facility, departments, rooms, wards, toilets, walkways must be clean and adequate, hygienic water; waste management such as sorting, collection, storage and disposal of medical wastes according to regulations; beautiful is departments, rooms, equipment, supplies must be organized neatly, tidily. Costumes of medical employees, patients must be provided sufficiently and hygienically.
