Provincial Labor Confederation has held the 7th Executive Committee’s Conference, 11th term, to discuss and give opinions on the Project on reorganizing the organization, apparatus, and organizational work and staff of Binh Duong Provincial Trade Union.
Accordingly, from April 1, 2025, Provincial Labor Federation will reduce from 6 committees to 5 committees under the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, including: Finance Department (remain unchanged); office (retain the name, receive the emulation and reward work from Policy - Law Department); Propaganda - Women's Union Department (retain the name, transfer the female labor policy work to Policy - Law Department); Policy - Law Department (transfer the emulation and reward work to the office; receive the female labor policy work from Propaganda - Women's Union Department, change the name to Policy - Law and Labor Relations Department); merge Organization Department and Inspection Committee (change the name to Organization - Inspection Department).
Industry and local trade unions reduced from 4 units to 3 units. Specifically, Textile and Garment Industry’s Trade Union remains unchanged, dissolving 3 industry and local trade unions including: Civil Servants' Union, Health Sector’s Union and Education Sector’s Union from March 31, 2025. At the same time, establish two trade unions at the higher level directly at grassroots level, manage grassroots trade unions and union members of the dissolved units with names of Trade Union of Provincial Party Agencies and Trade Union of Provincial Government Agencies. These two agencies officially came into operation from April 1, 2025.
