In recent years, the center has worked with lawyers under provincial Lawyers’ Delegation to give legal support for laborers; set up 37 legal support groups at the Labor Unions of districts, towns and cities…Provincial Labor Union has also always attached special importance to training and improving professional knowledge of those who are in charge of legal support for laborers.
Helping employers obey regulations
Along with giving legal support for laborers, the center is responsible for offering legal advice to employers, helping them well obey the law. It also acts as a bridge between employers and employees when labor disputes occur. With its ardor plus a high sense of responsibility, the center has so far offered free legal consultancy to thousands of businesses across the province.
The center has also given legal advice for trade unions at all levels in organizing dialogues, making working regulations; teamed up with provincial Labor Inspection, Social Insurance, Divisions of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to approve a number of contents for consultancy and settlement when labor disputes occur; collected contributive ideas to labor polices like the Labor Code, the Law on Trade Union, the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Employment…
This year, the center has coordinated with many agencies in the province to strengthen legal consultancy among laborers via many forms, including working with Binh Duong Radio-Television Station to carry out 104 legal consultancy programs named “Accompanying workers” for 202 laborers with more than 300 issues mentioned; teaming up with trade unions at all levels to kick off competitions learning about the Labor Code, social insurance…
With the above results, the center is ones of provincial Trade Union’s breakthroughs in upholding its role of protecting laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests, aiming to build up advanced, stable and harmonious labor relations in businesses…
