Accordingly, the set goals are: innovation of organization and operation that generate drastic changes on the organization and cadre’s quality, especially out-of-State enterprises’ union units; improve responsibilities of trade union for public servants’ problems addressing, harmonious labor relations’ construction at businesses; cadres and the union enhancing, effective organization of patriotic emulation movement to meet requirements of promote economic industrialization, modernization and restructuring; foster servant’s role in the Party and government building, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of provincial Congress Party.Reporter: So, what striving targets were set, sir?Mr. Le Thanh Nhon: We defined 7 target groups, namely, 90% workers of State-owned units, enterprises, 70% workers of out-of-State businesses were universalized labour laws and Laws of Trade union amendments 2012; 100% unionists were free consulted about labor laws; admission of 100,000 new unionists; 75% out-of-State businesses had trade union in accordance with Vietnamese Union regulations; 90% cadres had university degrees and 100% cadres, which were members of union unit’s Executive committee, were trained professional skills; 100% State-owned union units, 90% out-of-State units established female Boards, the female structure of Executive committee reached 30% or more, 100% unions at grassroots level had female structure in key leadership; every year, at least 90 % State-owned unions and 50% out-of-State unions reached strong standards.
