Early October 5, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of some sectors and departments in the province had a meeting with more than 300 officials of Trade Union locals in non-State businesses.
At the meeting, these Trade Union officials presented 27 queries relating to employment, unemployment insurance, social insurance, health insurance, food-labor hygiene safety, traffic jam at industrial parks, power-water and lodging prices…They also asked for authorities at all levels of the province to pay attention to improving workers’ skills when Vietnam has joined the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP); build cultural institutions; deal with workers’ demand of loans…
Representatives of relevant agencies also satisfactorily answered the above queries. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee required relevant agencies to raise basic solutions, ensuring laborers’ legitimate rights and interests.
