Early May 29, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice- Secretary of provincial Party Committee, visited, encouraged and presented 100 gifts to nearly 300,000 trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances at Friesland Campina Vietnam Co., Ltd in Thuan An city’s Binh Hoa ward. Each gift included VND1million in cash and necessities worth VND300,000 each. Accompanying the delegation was Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.

Reporting to the delegation, leader of Friesland Campina Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the company currently has factories in Binh Duong and Ha Nam provinces, an office in Ho Chi Minh city, with 6,200 workers. For 3 consecutive years from 2020, 2021 to 2022, the company was in the top 100 best places to work in Vietnam. Along with that, the company’s trade union local took good care of the lives of trade unionists and employees by many efforts such as negotiating and signing a collective labor agreement with the company with more favorable terms for employees; giving gifts, organizing sports festivals, tours... for trade unionists and employees.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Thao spoke highly of the company's efforts in overcoming difficulties, stabilizing production and business, and taking good care of employees' lives and jobs. He also encouraged trade unionists members and employees to further try to overcome difficulties, unite with the trade union local and company to build up a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship, contributing to promoting the company’s stronger and stronger development.
Mr. Thao also noted that the company’s directorate should further create the best conditions for the company’s trade union local to work effectively.
Next, the delegation visited, encouraged and gave gifts for 2 workers of Signal Co., Ltd. who had extremely difficult circumstances and were staying in Thuan An city’s Thuan Giao ward. Each gift included VND 3 million in cash and a gift worth nearly VND 300,000. Provincial and local delegations also gave more gifts including cash, free general medical examination vouchers..., for the two workers.
This was one of the province’s activities in response to the 2023 Workers' Month, the Action Month for labor safety and hygiene, the peak month to take care of trade unionists and employees' lives.
